Job Description

• Design & execute Lean – Six Sigma training program for the whole organization
• Organizing Kaizen events and Continuous Improvement activities for the whole company: Advice Kaizen team to implement continuous improvement to reduce the lead-time, process-time and down-time of the production process; eliminate non-value actions & waste.
• Setting up and maintaining LEAN factory with 6S priority
• Improve production efficiency together with the production team: Optimize the production plan and perform SMED to reduce change-overtime, defects.
• Initiate projects for cost-saving: Optimize all resources: manpower, machines, equipment, material, time, inventory, method, systems, space to minimize the cost, maximize profit
• Ensure a high and stable quality level in cooperation with the production team and quality team
• Set up production system based on LEAN/CI principles including audit procedure to sustain the standard: Standardize, visualize and stabilize all processes. Control standard work and work standard instructions. Compile the SOP system
• Set up, apply and sustain KPI system in cooperation with the production team
• Initiate projects for operational excellence
• Share, receive and apply best practice with other companies in the group
• Coach and coordinate IE activities: Build and monitor the cost structure. Coordinate the IE team to calculate conversion cost and labor cost.
• Implement and develop Kaizen idea database system
• Organize monthly CI meeting
• Design, execute and sustain company SOP system
• Utilize and improve machine uptime with functional departments
• Search and apply new technologies for the field
• Participate in various internal meetings such as management meetings, pre-production meetings (PP) and other relevant meetings.
• Working location: Quang Nam province, Vietnam
• Working time: Office hour from Monday – Saturday

Job Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with LEAN/CI – Sigma/IE (LEAN Champion and Black Belt is a plus)
• 3+ years of experience with LEAN – Sigma implementation for a garment factory with more than 3.000 employees
• Strong project management & execution skills
• Familiar with baby wear’s clothing production process, production technology.
• IT skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project). Knowledge about ERP systems such as Microsoft Business Solutions NAV I garment or similar an advantage
• Good in English or know Chinese speaking is an advantage
• Good people management skills and experience with employee training programs as well as presentation and communication skills
• Ability to convince others of your ideas
• Hands-on characteristic
• Good at teamwork
• Ability to make decisions as well as planning work activities in line with set objectives
• Ability to act quickly in a dynamic environment and possession of stress resistance
• Analytical skills including database analysis
