Job Description
- Manage day-to-day operation of a well-developed US apparel company ( men’s wear – shirt, pants, jacket, outerwear, dress pant, casual bottoms, knitwear, etc)
- Manage merchandise and sourcing activities directly (with around 25 staff)
- Coordinate daily merchandising and development activities
- Responsible for maximizing revenue through effective measures and yield strategies.
- Evaluate and further develop new business opportunities
- Lead, manage and enhance the overall performance of the teams
- Report to the Managing Director in HCM
- Direct communication with the US office and suppliers
- Working time: Office hours from Monday – Friday
- Working location: HCMC, Vietnam
Job Requirements
- University grad. in Business Management or equivalent with min. 5 years’ proven experience at senior manager level preferably in buying office
- Solid working experience in Vietnam is highly preferred
- Strong business development sense
- Proven garment experiences with the sound product and fabric knowledge for both woven and knits
- Good US market knowledge and experience in MNC companies
- Good command in both written and spoken in English and Vietnamese; Mandarin is an advantage
- Good PC skills
- Strong management skill, honest, loyal, self-driven, independent, good team leader, hardworking and responsive
- Frequent travels required
- Stations Vietnam (HCM) – both Local / Expat applicants are welcome
