Job Description

External

• Development and implementation of seasonal materials sourcing strategy
• Based on the seasonal direction, provide fabric collections in timely
• Set up clear local mill matrix and build strong relationships with mills for partnership & trust.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to anticipate future fabric technologies and trends
• Negotiate, confirm fabric pricing on a timely basis, source new suppliers and provide solutions to improve the pricing margin
• Involve quality issues proactively and implement preventive action
• Ensure all key seasonal timelines are met

Internal

• Closely work with Global Sourcing Team in Korea to be aligned
• Work with cross-functional teams, provide technical advice proactively.
• Set up fully shared local fabric library
• Support and initiate change to quality management tools for cost savings

• Working time: Office hours from Monday – Morning Saturday
• Working location: My Dinh, Hanoi

Job Requirements

• Over 7 years experience working in woven & Knit fabric sourcing
• A strong product and materials knowledge & familiarity with the product development process
• Able to work under pressure, result-oriented, excellent communication skills, proactive and detail-minded
• Multi-task master, well organized, strong problem-solving skills and able to meet deadlines
• Ability to build strong relationships with internal &external and  cross-functional partners
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Work experiences at global agency/liaison offices such as Decathlon, GAP, TARGET, Columbia, etc are preferred
• Trims sourcing experiences will be plus.
