Job Description

• Leading the technical, functions, in product development by reviewing all fit and final samples, product simplifications and innovations for product feasibility.
• Leading the production for technical and quality aspects by providing best methods and ensuring the production is run in smooth with maintaining the quality of the production.
• Involve for line setup and set the line with expected quality level based on the approved sample and customer standard.
• Verify final specs and create before wash spec for production
• Work with IE and production team for efficiency improvements.
• Lead undertaking and reviewing one-piece sample, jump size set, full size set and pilot to make pattern corrections for production initiates.
• Create technical sheets for all the styles and organize the technical meetings with all relevant teams.
• Review first production to ensure the running production smoothly for quality, measurements and workmanship.
• Daily basis visit fabric inspection to verify and involve for fabric related issues and check fabric for below aspects
• Fabric defect rates
• Evaluate type of defect in average point count.
• Minimum shrinkage, average shrinkage and maximum shrinkage evaluation.
• Suggest cutting direction (Normal marker, side to side markers, color shading marker, all garment one way and one garment one way.
• Any issues related to cutting (Fabric relaxing, lay heights, growing, fraying, shrinking after fused and what aspects especially to check and monitor). Daily basis visit to check below aspects
• Check the line setting such as front/back components and complete output.
• Do OPCD (operation clear drive) to check the lay out to improve the efficiency, quality handling and justify operations.
• Lead the finishing garments measurements drive with merchant teams and factory quality team daily basis for rows of finishing line each factory.
• Do maintenance audit daily basis to find out the mechanical faults, machine faults, and operator handling faults and correct all of them then and there.
• 3 pieces drive in each line daily basis with factory (technical, production and quality teams.
• Reviewing fining lines for quality and measurements and do the corrective and preventive action for each failure and mistakes.
• Participate for production, technical and quality review.
• Make CAP reports for quality and technical concerns.
• Making technical related reports and corrective action plan.
• Work with customer representative for product, technical and quality review.
• Working with teams to achieve the company goal and for personal goals

Working Location: North Vietnam

Working Time: Monday to Friday

Job Requirements

• At least 5 years’ experience as Senior Technical Manager in the field of garment
• Good at communication and management skills
• Excellent English
