Job Description

• Manage the Technical, Lab, and Material Management Departments… within the Factory
• Formulate and implement Training workshops, for the Technical Teams to enhance their understanding and performance in relation to the ‘Fitting and Approval Process’ of each Customer, and to increase the efficiency of Product Sampling, to enable an increase of ‘first time’ Sample Approvals. Provide the necessary Technical Training were applicable.
• Implement a process for the Technical Managers to be able to communicate directly with the Customer
• Provide a robust Training Plan and carry out the Training with the Teams directly.
• Develop and implement strategies and plans to be able to amalgamate and realign the Technical Team and Material Management Team in tandem with the Sales and Merchandising Teams. Creating a ‘Modular’ system whereby certain Key Customers have their own individual Teams with clear points of communication, thereby increasing Customer satisfaction, and speed of delivery.
• Assess the Factory Rate of Rejects, Customer complaints and Product Discount Requests, and establish a robust SOP for decreasing the Rate.
• Track the Rate Reduction and advise the ‘Monetary Saving’ as a result.
• Responsible for handling the direct face to face Customer engagement with their Buying and Technical Teams in relation to any Technical or Quality Issues, and provide solutions were necessary.
• Manage the annual Performance Reviews and communicate clear KPI’s to the Teams, in line with the Company Strategy.
• Formulate the annual budget for the Technical Department, integrating that into the overall Factory budget for the year.

Working Location: North Vietnam

Working Time: Monday to Friday 

Job Requirements

• At least 5 years’ experience to work at the same position for garment manufacturing company
• Strong decision maker and Team Leadership skills
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills
• Creative and motivated person
