Review factories demand and resource availability
Receive and liaise new development request with Sales/Customer
Costing/Pricing: source new/alternative material & propose alternative production mode/contractor to reduce production cost.
Manage & maintain accurate price on the system.
Proofing/Sampling: Work with production team for new/revised item. Monitor & update the progress to Sales/Region. Inspect & ensure good quality of sample before submission to customer/Region.
Manage first order quality with Quality Control and Production team.
Provide technical support to achieve global quality consistency.
Review customers demand and suppliers availability for any new product developments, target standard, take ownership for product quality.
Co-ordinate well with team colleagues, factories and monitor QAs to ensure sample’s quality, final goods meet customer’s standards and shipment lead-time.
Costing/Pricing: Source new/alternative material and propose alternative production mode/contractor to reduce production cost.
Sampling: Work with production team for new item, inspect and ensure good quality of sample before submission to customers, monitor and update the progress to Sale/ Region.
Proofing: Supervise press proofing’s, making of colors swatches for production.

Must have good knowledge and solid experience in textile industry
Full understanding of product costing process
Tenacity to make sure that new designs are 100% right
Ability to work effectively with people from different countries
Demonstrated ability to conceive/create new thinking and ideas pertaining to the product and process
Ability to travel when required during the development season
