Job Description
- Work with customers and Sales & Customer Service to obtain fit preferences, pattern requirements, obtain style information, garment construction preferences, and sewing requirements. Then communicate with the Pattern Technologist team and Garment Technologist for ensuring to produce high quality patterns for maximize material utilization, production efficiency and satisfied as the customer requirements
- Communicate with customers and provide technical suggestions/advice to improve fit and quality if necessary
- Be responsible for evaluating the skill level of Pattern Technologists and garment technologist build a training plan to upgrade their skill level
- Coordinate with Sample Room Manager for planning, organizing and monitoring the sample making process to ensure timely production of high quality samples for internal and customer approval. Be personally responsible for making adjustments and improvements on sub-material and handling methods to improve quality and production efficiency.
- Work closely with other related teams such as the Folder Technician, Mechanics and Industrial Engineering teams to create new folders and work aids to reduce SMV and improve quality.
- Ensure the product requirements and specifications from Sales & Customer Service , Lab and customers for providing technical advice on the sewing methods in order to meet the customer’s requirements
- Organize preproduction meetings, develop operation breakdowns and provide the required training to production operators before production begins
- Collaborate with Sewing Garment Technologist Supervisors and Sewing Garment Technologist to provide advice for technical problem arising during bulk production process
- Review the production performance with the technical team after product delivery to facilitate future methods improvement.
- Other tasks will be reviewed and discussed further during interview process
Working Location: North Vietnam
Working Time: Monday to Friday
