Job Description
- Establishing our Prototyping Department as an in-house technical studio for the production of The company clothing prototypes and mock-ups
- Helping with design and sourcing of materials
- Taking original ideas and creating physical mockups of new company concepts suitable for sharing with our international production partners
- Cooperating and transferring knowledge with our twin production facility in South Asia
- Creating physical mock-ups and prototypes of accessories and special editions on behalf of key company accounts.
- Working location: Germany
Job Requirements
- Over 7 years experience in the field of cutting and clothing technology
- Expert technical craft skills, ideally supported by a postgraduate degree in fashion design
- Setting up a bespoke team of 4-6 expert tailors and clothing technicians
- Good initiative, and an interest in researching and implementing new processing techniques
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing techniques and technical production methods
- Day-to-day knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, MS, Office and PDM systems
- Experience in workwear and leisure clothing…
- Good in English (MUST). Know Chinese is an advantage
