Develop and responsible for maintaining data base for predetermined times standards using GSD.
Work closely with Design/ Product development/Merchandizing /PPE /PPQA team throughout the product development cycle.
Align with the manufacturing partners in the effort to achieve brand right products at profitable margins.
Build detailed costing data: FOB value and Bottom –up
Indicate costing improvement opportunities
- FOB savings through operational engineering e.g
- Standard methods, engineering, machinery, etc. …
- Identify opportunity to reduce raw material consumptions
- Identify opportunity to reduce component consumption.
- Review current allowances within raw material and challenge / agree.
Create historical database, for specific style: Cost, SMV,YY, etc
Fully develop / implement fact based costing programs.
Develop cross functional relationships to ensure: Standardization of costing process; Brand costing alignment and Secure cost saving opportunities
Support brands with costing negotiations: Detailed analysis; Improved process / methods to ensure work content reduction
Visit Vendor base to ensure “Keep in touch” with actual process and Planned seasonal visits
Visit vendor base to support costing negotiations

Degree / Diploma in Industrial Engineering or equivalent with 5-7 years of related experience
Must have Manufacturing experience (Engineering) and garment Technical / construction Knowledge
GSD Certification is a must
Hands on experience in Gerber / Lectra/ Cutting process will be an added advantage
With good understanding on Lean Manufacturing
Good negotiation skills and communication skills with all levels in Vendor base
Good command of written and spoken English
Flexibility in travel schedules
