Source new/alternative suppliers to secure sustainable and profitable business.
Negotiation with suppliers on costing, sample lead time and quality standard (if any)
Collect and Maintain a library of fabric and trims to propose/suggest to the buyer for cost-saving.
Research and propose to R&D Manager any new material combination, new technique or effect that could be applied to new collection (proposal).
Follow up material development (fabric & trims) to meet the buyer’s requirement or internal department’s requirement.
Do all necessary testing for material to make sure requirements.
Handle cost-saving activity in Sourcing including improving Total Cost.
Work with internal teams to support their purchasing needs
Handle supplier scorecard process annually
Support and proactively look for improvements to the sourcing process.
Conduct regular meetings with key suppliers to understand the pulse of external environment and or changes.
Any other assignments related to Sourcing given BOM.

Graduated College or University (Major: Economics/ Finance)
A degree in Textile science or Supply Chain Management or Color chemistry is preferred
3+ years working experiences in the same position
Have good knowledge of all kinds of fabrication such as cotton, linen, lycra, polyester, etc

Have good knowledge and skills of manufacturing processes, procurement and sourcing process.
Full knowledge of lab-test requirements is preferable
Procedures, processes, standards, instructions creation skills
International and local laws
English (oral and written), Work planning, Problem-solving, Training, Coaching and managerial skills
Have good networking and understanding of supplier base in and around Vietnam, China
